Spider-Man (MCU) Watching Order

Spider-Man’s journey through the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) is one of the most interesting and compelling paths. It starts with a supporting role in a Captain America movie and explodes into three solo films, a number of other appearances, and even a connection to an entire other film universe. Needless to say, watching the MCU Spider-Man movies can be pretty intense.

Luckily, we have a guide that can walk you through this experience. Our Spider-Man (MCU) Watching Order will show you all of Spider-Man’s MCU movies, even the less obvious ones. It will also explain the order they take place and any relevant connections between them.

Spider-Man (MCU) Watching Order

The MCU version of Spider-Man is not actually introduced through a Spider-Man movie. Instead, he makes his MCU debut in Captain America: Civil War. This film introduces him and establishes a lot about his character that is important going forward. So, we don’t recommend skipping this one when working through this Spider-Man watching order.

After, Civil War, Spider-Man gets his own movie: Spider-Man: Homecoming. This fully dives into who Spider-Man is and what he is currently going through.

After this, Spider-Man returns to the larger Marvel Universe for two more movies. He has a major role in Avengers: Infinity War and a moderate role in Avengers: Endgame. The events of both of these movies have a dramatic impact on subsequent Spider-Man appearances.

This is where Spider-Man: Far From Home comes in. This film deals with the fallout from Endgame and how it impacts Spider-Man. Then, the narrative directly continues in Spider-Man: No Way Home. This film takes place immediately after Far From Home.

On top of all of this, the end-credits scene from Venom: Let There Be Carnage takes place at some point during the events of No Way Home. This then explains a connected end-credits scene that appears in No Way Home.
