Original Hellboy Movies Watching Order
The Hellboy film series started with the release of Hellboy. This is the first film in the franchise and is the movie that introduces audiences to Hellboy. From here, the story directly continues in Hellboy II: The Golden Army. These are the only two films in this particular series, so, in order to watch this series in order, viewers only need to see these two films.
A third film was originally discussed for this series. However, it never ended up being created. Instead, some of the ideas were retooled and a reboot film was created.

Hellboy Reboot Watching Order
The 2019 Hellboy movie rebooted the franchise. This film has nothing to do with the previous two films and takes place in a different continuity. So, viewers do not have to watch the previous two films in order to understand this one.
Currently, Hellboy (2019) does not have a sequel. Because of this, it stands completely independent.
