The Evil Dead Original Trilogy

The Evil Dead film franchise starts with The Evil Dead. Viewers do not need to watch anything else before watching this film.

The first few properties in this franchise have a pretty straightforward watching order. The Evil Dead takes place first. This is then followed shortly by the events of Evil Dead II, which is almost immediately followed by the events of Army of Darkness. These three films form a trilogy centered around the story of Ash Williams and his fight against evil.

Released long after the original trilogy of films, the Ash vs Evil Dead TV series picks up the story once again. This series takes place about 30 years later but still centers around Ash Williams. It brings back many core elements of the franchise and generally continues the narrative.
