The 2021 “DC Comics Encyclopedia” is on the Way
It’s been a few years since DC’s last encyclopedia, the DC Comics Encyclopedia All-New Edition, was released and a lot has happened since then. Major events, like Doomsday Clock (Reading Order), have altered the history of the DC Universe while other comics, like Scott Snyder’s Justice League (Reading Order), have restructured the very nature of the Omniverse. Now, an updated encyclopedia is on the way to reflect these changes.
Solicitations for a DC Comics Encyclopedia New Edition have just recently appeared from several publishers. This 2021 version of the encyclopedia seems to be set to update readers on many of DC’s latest continuity alterations and character progressions. Currently, it is set for release on July 6, 2021, though release dates for early solicitations like this are often subject to change.
