Kid Flash (Wallace West) Reading Order

This reading order is designed to give an outline of major storylines featuring Kid Flash (Wallace “Wally” West)  throughout DC Comics. It may not encompass every one of his appearances, but is an outline of the major ones and the stories that affect them.

The continuity details relating to each specific storyline are explained in the “Review” of each storyline. Wallace “Wally” West was introduced in the New 52 era and has no appearances prior to this era. Originally, Wally was introduced as a new interpretation of the original Wally West. However, at the beginning of the Rebirth era, it was clarified that the new Wally West is a completely separate and unique character.

In this era, Wally is introduced through The Flash series. Here, he is introduced as a normal person, his superhero origin is revealed, and he makes his initial ties to the Flash (Reading Order). In general, all of this depicts his move toward the moniker of Kid Flash.
