New 52

In the New 52 era, Swamp Thing’s story started with Scott Snyder’s run on the character. Charles Soule’s time writing Swamp Thing began immediately after this run.

This period began by exploring the repercussions of the climactic Rotworld (Reading Order) event. It then went on to significantly expand the mythos surrounding Swamp Thing and his connection to the Green. It also helped develop other metaphysical entities and depict the conflicts between them.
