President Superman Reading Order

This reading order is designed to give an outline of major storylines featuring President Superman of Earth 23‎ (Calvin Ellis/Kalel) throughout DC Comics. It may not encompass every one of his appearances but is an outline of the major ones and the stories that affect them.

The continuity details relating to each specific storyline are explained in the “Review” of each storyline. Every “Review” link will provide a detailed continuity breakdown of that story and will explain any reference the story makes to other aspects of the DC Universe. Post-Crisis

President Superman is introduced toward the end of the Post-Crisis era in DC history. He does not have any appearances before this point.

President Superman is introduced in the final issue of the Final Crisis event. He isn’t the main character in this issue, but it is the first chance readers get to see him and learn about the world he comes from. This issue essentially provides the basis on which all of President Superman’s future appearances will be based.
