Overview
Superman: The Final Days of Superman (Review) is a single storyline that takes place across the Superman, Batman/Superman, Action Comics, and Superman/Wonder Woman series. These eight issues should all be read in the order detailed above in order for the story to make sense.
Before Reading
This crossover event immediately follows the events of Superman: Savage Dawn (Review)(Reading Order). Though the events of Justice League Vol. 8: Darkseid War Part 2 (Review) and Justice League: Power and Glory (Review) are briefly blamed for starting this event, they play very little role in the overall storyline. It is possible to read this even on its own, but to get the full experience we recommend reading these prelude stories first.
After Reading
The adventures of this particular Superman end in this volume. However, the adventures of a new Superman continue on in Action Comics Vol. 1: Path of Doom (Review) and Superman Vol. 1: Son of Superman (Review).
In addition, the very end of this event provides the launching point for the New Super-Man and Superwoman series. New Super-Man starts with New Super-Man Vol. 1: Made in China and Superwoman starts with Superwoman Vol. 1: Who Killed Superwoman?
