Donna Troy Reading Order

This reading order is designed to give an outline of major storylines featuring Donna Troy (sometimes know as Wonder Girl) throughout DC Comics. It may not encompass every one of her appearances but is an outline of the major ones and the stories that affect them.

The continuity details relating to each specific storyline are explained in the “Review” of each storyline. New 52

With the beginning of the New 52, the DC Universe’s continuity was reset. This has a large impact on Donna Troy’s character and effectively wipes her history clean

Donna Troy is reintroduced through the Wonder Woman series, where she receives a completely new origin and motivation. Later on, elements of her past history are brought back through the Titans Hunt miniseries and her involvement with the Titans (Reading Order), in which she has a large role. In this era, these two appearances somewhat conflict with each other and seem to present a disharmonious picture of Donna Troy’s history. However, this confusion is mostly cleared up in the Rebirth era.

Rebirth

The Rebirth era directly continues Donna Troy's story from the Titans Hunt series. Like the previous era, this, at first, appears to ignore her reintroduction and revised origin from the Wonder Woman series. However, these contradictions are addressed in Titans Annual #1, which helps explain the situation.

As mentioned above, this era is mostly a continuation of Donna Troy's adventures alongside the Titans (Reading Order). It further elaborates on her relationship with the team and the discoveries she begins to make about herself. Almost all of this plays out through the Titans series, including the Lazarus Contract (Reading Order) crossover.
