Omnibus Editions for Mind MGMT and Dept. H on the way from Dark Horse

Dark Horse Comics recently announced that two of Matt Kindt’s series are getting the omnibus treatment. Mind MGMT and Dept. H are both getting an omnibus edition that will gather previously published material in a larger collection. These collections are set for release in early 2019.

The Mind MGMT Omnibus will collect material currently collected in Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 of Mind MGMT. This will include the first twelve issues of the series and stories from Dark Horse Presents and i09. The omnibus will also exclusively collect material from the original issues that, as of now, has yet to be reprinted. This will include the fake ads, back covers, and inside cover stories. Mind MGMT Omnibus: The Manager and the Futurist goes on sale February 21, 2019.

The Dept. H Omnibus will collect material currently collected in Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 of Dept. H. This will include the first twelve issues of the series. It is unclear if any additional material will also be collected here. Dept. H Omnibus Volume 1: Pressure & After the Flood goes on sale May 22, 2019.

Though details are currently rather sparse, it appears these omnibuses will be similar to previously released Dark Horse omnibus editions, such as the recent Hellboy Omnibus. This means that these collections will likely be standard-sized paperbacks and will not have oversized artwork, a feature typically reserved for Dark Horse’s library editions. Dark Horse has confirmed that more information about these omnibuses will be released in the coming months.
