Details about the “Dark Nights: Death Metal” Collections are Here
The Dark Nights: Death Metal event is still in full swing but we’re already getting some information on how the crossover may be collected. So far, four collections have been solicited and these collections seem to be set to gather the entirety of this event’s material. A hardcover deluxe edition will collect the main event series and three trade paperbacks will collect all of the event’s tie-in issues. In this way, the trade publication for the Dark Nights: Death Metal event seems to be playing out in almost the same was as its predecessor, the Dark Nights: Metal (Review) (Reading Order) event.
A summary of the solicitations can be seen below:
- Dark Nights: Death Metal: Deluxe Edition
- Collects Dark Nights: Death Metal #1-6.
- Release Date: April 6, 2021
- Dark Nights: Death Metal: The Darkest Knight
- Collects Dark Nights: Death Metal Legends of the Dark Knights #1, Dark Nights: Death Metal Speed Metal #1, Dark Nights: Death Metal Trinity Crisis #1, Dark Nights: Death Metal Multiverse’s End #1, and Dark Nights Death Metal Guidebook #1.
- Release Date: April 20, 2021
- Dark Nights: Death Metal: The Multiverse Who Laughs
- Collects Dark Nights: Death Metal Infinite Hour Exxxtreme! #1, Dark Nights: Death Metal Robin King #1, Dark Nights: Death Metal Rise of the New God #1, Dark Nights: Death Metal The Multiverse Who Laughs #1, and Dark Nights: Death Metal The Secret Origin #1.
- Release Date: May 4, 2021
- Dark Nights: Death Metal: War of the Multiverse
- Collects Dark Nights: Death Metal The Last 52: War of the Multiverse #1 and Dark Nights: Death Metal The Last Stories of the DCU #1.
- Release Date: May 18, 2021
In addition to this, based on the fact that this event is being published like the Dark Nights: Metal (Review) (Reading Order) event, I wouldn’t be surprised if a paperback edition of the main event material appears shortly after the deluxe edition’s publication.
