An “Absolute Dark Nights: Metal” Collection is On the Way
Absolute Editions are probably the most prestigious collections published by DC Comics. Now, a new absolute edition is on the way for the Dark Nights: Metal (Reading Order) event. This gives fans a chance to appreciate the event in a cool new format, which should be particularly appealing considering it will highlight Greg Capullo’s gorgeous artwork in an even larger size than before.
Absolute Dark Nights: Metal is currently set for release on May 31, 2022. The volume is currently set to collect Dark Nights: Metal #1-6, Batman: Lost #1, Dark Nights: Metal Director’s Cut #1, and Dark Knights Rising: The Wild Hunt #1. This gathers together the main storyline and the two most essential tie-ins, the only two tie-ins that were written by the event’s main writer, Scott Snyder. It also appears to collect the Director’s Cut edition of the event’s first issue, which gathers together bonus material that was previously unavailable in a collected edition. All together, this seems like a pretty solid lineup for this event, making for an appealing Absolute Edition.
