All Upcoming DC Absolute Editions (June – December 2020)

Since our last update, DC Comics has solicited a few more Absolute Editions coming in the future. It does not include quite as much new material as one might have hoped for, but there is always the chance for more collections to pop up in the future. For now though, this is a list of all solicited editions currently set for release between today and December of 2020. This list details the contents and release date for each collection.
Readers should keep in mind that solicitations like these often undergo changes before release. Contents, release dates, and collection sizes could all be altered before the book comes out, or the book could be canceled altogether. This means that this list is likely to be what is released in the future, but nothing is guaranteed.

- Absolute Fourth World by Jack Kirby Vol. 1
- Collects Superman’s Pal Jimmy Olsen #133-139 and #141-148, The New Gods #1-11, The Forever People #1-11, Mister Miracle #1-18, plus later stories from New Gods #4 and DC Graphic Novel #4.
- Release Date: June 2, 2020
- Absolute The Dark Knight (New Printing)
- Collects Batman: The Dark Knight Strikes Again #1-4, Absolute Dark Knight #1, and Batman: The Dark Knight Returns #1-4.
- Release Date: September 8, 2020
- Absolute Swamp Thing by Alan Moore Vol. 1 (New Printing)
- Collects The Saga of the Swamp Thing #20-34 and Swamp Thing Annual #2. Also includes a monumental new afterword from Bissette accompanied by a wealth of historic behind-the-scenes material from the title’s original creative team.
- Release Date: October 13, 2020
- Absolute Swamp Thing by Alan Moore Vol. 2
- Collects Saga of the Swamp Thing #35-49 with brand-new coloring.
- Release Date: October 27, 2020
- Absolute Transmetropolitan Vol. 1 (New Printing)
- Contents currently unlisted. However, it will likely include similar issues as the previous printing, which collected Transmetropolitan #1-18, Transmetropolitan: I Hate it Here, and Vertigo Winter’s Edge #2.
- Release Date: December 8, 2020
