Alan Moore’s Tom Strong is Getting a Paperback Compendium Reprint

Compendium Editions are large paperback collections that DC has been publishing more of recently. Usually, these gather together a large number of comic book issues that represent a complete run or an entire series. Last month, a few new Compendium Editions were announced. Now, another of these new Compendium Editions has been revealed.

The Tom Strong Compendium is currently set for release on May 16, 2023. It is set to collect Tom Strong #1-36, which is the entirety of the original Tom Strong series. Not all of these issues were written by Alan Moore, as writers like Geoff Johns, Brian K. Vaughan, Ed Brubaker, and more took over for specific issues. Altogether, this makes this a pretty complete collection that also represents a pretty remarkable conglomeration of comic book talent.
