“Absolute Jack Kirby’s Fourth World Vol. 2” Solicitation is Up

Jack Kirby’s Forth World has had a massive impact on the history of comic books and continues to dramatically influence the modern DC Universe. Last year, the first half of Kirby’s Fourth World was collected in DC’s premium Absolute Edition format but it wasn’t clear when this collection series would continue. Now, the second Absolute Edition is on the way.

Absolute Jack Kirby’s Fourth World Vol. 2 is currently set for release on November 30, 2021. The contents of this volume are not currently listed. However, the first volume contained about half of Kirby’s work and seemed to have been the first of a two volume series. This would, presumably, leave the Absolute Jack Kirby’s Fourth World Vol. 2 to finish collecting his work. Fans should keep in mind though that this release is far in the future and the details could change as the release date approaches.

In addition, fans of Kirby’s Fourth World should keep in mind that the Fourth World by Jack Kirby Omnibus is getting a new printing. This is just one of several Omnibus Editions that was revealed recently (check here to see all of them).
