A New Gotham Academy Paperback Collection is on the Way

Gotham Academy (Reading Order) was one of the most innovative titles to come from the end of the DC Comics New 52 era (Reading Order). Instead of focusing on superheros and supervillains, the series shifted the spotlight to a group of students attending Gotham Academy. These students went on to form their own detective club in order to investigate the school’s mysteries. The adventures were charming, entertaining, and are now going to be collected in a large, paperback volume.

The new Gotham Academy trade paperback is currently set for release on May 9, 2023. Unfortunately, not much about this new collection is known right now, as the contents are not currently listed and even the current cover solicitation is just an image of a previous cover. However, the solicitation does indicate that the collection is around 460 pages, meaning it is around the same length as the first three volumes of the Gotham Academy series combined. This would collect the full “First Semester” of the series and, with it, the main storyline. If this is the case, then this new collection would be a perfect choice for anyone interested in reading the original Gotham Academy storyline.
